LAWRENCEVILLE: Historically Significant Trees of Georgia - Gwinnett County Master Gardeners Meeting

Dr. Tim Smalley, Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus, University of Georgia, will discuss his project to document the Historically Significant Trees of Georgia. A historically significant tree is one associated with a historical site or one which has “witnessed” a historical event.  Included in his discussion are trees with historical and horticulturally significance on public and private land, and unique, outstanding, specimens for the locale. GCMGA meets on the third Monday at The Bethesda Senior Center, 225 Bethesda Church Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30044. This is the second and final noontime program for 2022.
