Social time begins at 9:30 am with the program at 10am and a business meeting at 11 am. The Bridge Community Center, 225 Willow Bend Road, Peachtree City,.  Lou Hisel will present a program on “The Woodland Garden” The non-profit gardening club is open to all interested in gardening, including master gardeners and other gardeners. Attendees may bring a plant for a plant swap following the meeting. Hisel, who earned Master Gardener credentials in 2007 following retirement as an airline pilot, and his wife, Gloria, developed a woodland garden in their Jonesboro, GA home 16 years ago. He served as president of the UGA Extension Service Master Gardeners in Clayton County in past years, as well as an active participant in area volunteer and political efforts. He distinguished himself early in life as the Future Farmers of America (FFA) “State Farmer” while a senior in his Oregon High School.
