Director of Horticulture, Shelly Prescott, attended a unique industry collaboration in August, 2019 when The National Garden Bureau (NGB), Perennial Plant Association (PPA) and All-America Selections (AAS) teamed up to host a joint meeting in Chicago, IL, and its surrounding suburbs. With a motto of “Urbs in Horto” (Latin meaning “City in a Garden”), Chicago seems to celebrate warm weather with an abundance of flowers, parks and outdoor events. Hear about Chicago as a summer destination and experience this trio of garden industry events in our January Garden Travels.
