Mimsie Lanier Center for Native Plant Studies, $50. In this course we will discuss the history of our Georgia Piedmont soils and general soil ecology and biology. What is soil? What factors affect soil properties? These are a couple of the questions we will address in this class, which will include a lecture as well as a lab portion where we will explore soil in nature.
