State Botanical Garden, Athens. COST: $60.00 for members of Friends of the Garden, $67.00 for non-members. This includes round-trip chartered bus transportation, admission to Massee Lane Gardens and snacks for the bus. This trip includes a guided walking tour through the camellia collection, the Abendroth Japanese Garden, a Children’s Garden, the Garden headquarters containing one of the largest Boehm porcelain collections on public display in the US and the gift shop and requires a moderate amount of walking. After your Garden tour, we will journey to Montezuma, GA, to have lunch at the well-known Yoder’s Deitch Haus. Each traveler will be responsible for their lunch selection and payment. (Cost between $8-$15 depending on your choices.) Yoder’s cafeteria-style food offers many choices and features Mennonite home cooking and spectacular desserts!
