Lumpkin County Parks and Rec. (365 Riley Road). Our topic will be ‘Plant This, Not That’ and your garden should thrive using plant species native to our north Georgia environment. Choosing native plants avoids many plant health and predator issues in your landscape. Please join as we learn about going native. Our speaker will be Judy McCann from the Georgia Native Plant Society, who is a Master Gardener and a resident of Lumpkin County. For information contact Lumpkin County Extension at uge1187@uga.edu or call 706-864-2275. The meeting is free and open to the public.
