We will learn what constitutes a healthy freshwater ecosystem and how to help protect the Etowah and Chestatee rivers from current threats by using vegetative buffers and native biodiversity. Our speaker is Tiffany Penland, Aquatic Biologist with the Wildlife Resources Division of Georgia DNR where her focus is conservation of imperiled fishes and their habitats.
