GCMGA will host Joe Lamp’l at our lunch time meeting. We’ll gather at 11:30 am at  Rhodes-Jordan Community Center, 100 E Crogan St., Lawrenceville for social time and lunch. Presentation will begin at Noon. Meetings are free to the public. Joe will be talking about Ecological Gardening and sharing his insights into the impact gardeners have on their yards and communities via the choices they make and garden practices. Joe will also share his own organic gardening practices in both his vegetable garden and his yard with an ever-expanding palette of native plants.  Joe will be available to sell and sign his newest book, The Vegetable Gardening Book. Joe Lamp'l is one of the country’s most recognized and trusted personalities in gardening and green living, that passion for living a greener life is evident to a nationwide audience who watches Joe in his current role as Creator, Executive Producer and Host of the Emmy Award-winning PBS series, Growing a Greener World®. Our Mission is to serve as stewards of the environment, voluntarily educating the public of Gwinnett County, Georgia about horticultural practices that will foster both beautiful gardens and a healthy environment.
