Starting with a brief insight into the historical impact of this popular vegetable, and then exploring the best varieties for our area for maximum yields, this class is sure to get you “digging”. Weather permitting, there will be a hands-on demonstration of the proper planting techniques, “best practice” cultural tips, planting and harvesting calendars, and storage guidelines.
